Web Traffic Analysis

Well I’ve been pretty busy so haven’t made it back to post in a little while. I guess that’s good in a way as my test blog has had time to mature a bit more and I can share what’s been happening with it, in particular I will share my web traffic analysis. So the last things I did were submit an interesting post to some social bookmarks and also I submitted some articles. The results are not mind blowing and here’s why I think that is.
You might remember that I chose a seasonal niche for my test site and it’s not Christmas. So the relevancy of my site is pretty low in terms of the world and its current seasonal trends. So I really need to wait it all out until this particular season hits early next year to see the fruits of my labour. I have had a look though at whether any of my activities have generated any traffic to my test site.
What my web traffic analysis reveals is that I have indeed already received visitors from Google search which is very exciting. Even though the main niche is out of season I was able to nicely link into Christmas a little with a couple of posts. Those posts are ranking and getting organic traffic from Google which is a very positive sign for the future. So I’m pretty chuffed with those results. I’ve had a couple of visitors from a few articles but again those articles won’t be of much interest until next year.
So there’s not much to analyse at the moment and I will leave my test blog updates until mid next year now. I will continue to add content to the test site a couple of times a week in the hope I can get traffic generated from those key phrases too.
My next post will be about another blog I’ve just set up that I’m very excited about. I’ll share the link and why I’ve started it, I think you’re going to love it. Until next time, I hope you build some websites online, earn money whilst you sleep and earn money whilst you’re awake too! Goodluck.
