Traffic To Blog

Well I’m pleased to report that my make money test blog is indexed already. It’s made its debut on the third page of Google for its targeted keyword phrase. The traffic to blog statistics are not quite so exciting. I must mention here though that the niche I chose is seasonal. It will really show its worth early in 2009 so I’m investing now to see if I can make the most of this world wide celebration. I did hope though to get some traffic before then so this is how I plan to do that.

My test site from here on in is going to be named blog T, for “test”. So to get traffic to blog T will be my next focus. There are so many ways to go about this but from all that I’ve read article marketing sounds like one of the easiest methods and the good news is that it’s cheap, indeed it’s FREE! Most people know that Ezine Articles is one of the most respected article directories on the web so I will start there. If I submit some quality articles that will not only meet Ezine’s publishing criteria but most importantly give the reader some valuable information then I should be able to build a little bit of a name as an expert in my chosen niche and get some traffic at the same time.

Following on from article marketing will be social bookmarking. Now to be honest, I don’t know a great deal about Facebook and all those type of sites but I intend to have a look around and find out how I can utilise them to get traffic to blog T.

So without further ado, I will head on over to Google’s free keyword tool and look for some not too competitive key phrases that are related to my niche and write some articles on them. Once I submit them to Ezine Articles I’ll have to wait until they’re approved which could take as long as a week depending on how busy they are. Hopefully from there I will see more than zero when I check my Google analytics report for traffic to blog T. I’ll keep you posted.
