Ok, I’m back and have an update on the Joel Comm Adsense Secrets freeby.

I’ve read through the entire 235 pages and although it felt way too long and tiring to read you couldn’t say Joel has left out important details. Far from it! There’s so much detail on mastering Adsense that I can’t see how anyone could fail at it.

He touches on SEO too, providing some little nuggets of gold. I really appreciated that the book was well rounded like that; it didn’t stick strictly to Adsense but rather included the basics of internet marketing too.

The info is very detailed, which I loved but reading it in only two sittings I found myself a little overwhelmed by it all. Joel Comm’s writing style did flow and he did summarise here and there but some additional bullet points and summaries could have been really helpful. Last night I changed some of my Adsense ads in line with Joel’s system on one of my niche sites, being able to reference such detailed notes from his book was where all that content I’d churned through paid off.

It was disappointing that some of the links in the book to websites didn’t deliver up the expected result and or the tools referenced by Joel didn’t work on those sites. Not a Joel Comm fault of course but maybe picking more reliable websites to reference would make for a better experience for his readers.

Like many of the e-books on line, you can expect to find a lot of links to products that Joel is an affiliate of, no problem there although that combined with all Joel’s other products, it got a little tiring toward the end clicking away to all these other things. (I didn’t have to click did I… but couldn’t resist.:))

As far as the 30 day free forum pass, I get the feeling the forum really is about networking, something that is of course of immense value. At this early stage of my ‘online earn money’ efforts I think I need to spend time on actions not posting so much in every other forum I get access to. But if you’re a little more of a seasoned internet marketer then you might just find that joint venture partner you’ve been looking for in the Joel Comm forum.

Overall Joel Comm does appear to be the expert on Adsense, he is well known and what I consider trustworthy. Given I got his Adsense Secrets book for free it was of course a massive bargain. It would be something I’d pay for too though as the 235 pages really do hold a blueprint for Adsense that covers the works; everything you need to know to make money straight away.
